I've got to say, Forever 21 recently stepped their game up with their outerwear this past fall/winter, and it was so hard to try to stop myself from going crazy buying them all. They had so many colors and patterns, it looked like pure heaven. Their lookbook featuring model Anja Rubik was over the top, and literally had me wanting more. The coat seen here was one of the ones I had my eye on when I was last at the store trying to find something Disney-related to wear for our trip to Disneyland. As it is online, it was on sale for $34.99 from almost $50. Honestly, I am not sure if I still would have bought it at that price, but my boss got me a gift card for our holiday gift exchange, so that helped (thank you, Faby)! Anyway, I haven't been able to get this off my back since I got my hands on it, mostly because it's very comfortable and goes with my wannabe homeless- MK & A look. What do you think of the warm and lace-y look? Such a juxtaposition of fabrics, I think I'm in love. Like Charlie Hunnam love. (Ahh!)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, BABES! I am writing to you from up in the air...on my flight from San Diego to Phoenix! I am very excited to be arriving in about half an hour because we then take off to the Grand Canyon in some little city named "Fredonia" (who knew?). I don't know, but it sounds like a name out of some Harry Potter book. For now, I am starving, and very bummed I won't be able to enjoy a full Thanksgiving meal. With that, I have to say that I have had a few realizations. Today is (obviously) not about the food (though seriously, it's a very big part of it), but that of literally giving thanks- thanks for the family that drives you crazy and you didn't choose, for your job(s), cars, home, and perhaps the ability to travel. I may not be some jetsetting girl just yet, but I am so grateful I get to spend this weekend with nature. What's even better is the fact that it will definitely be colder the whole way there than it is currently (yes, it's STILL WARM!). What are you thankful for?

Now, for my look. I was gifted with one of the most beautiful items of clothing I now own from Motel Rocks- the famous Gabby Sequin Plunge Back Dress that you have probably seen on a million bloggers, but couldn't help but have for the holidays. You will definitely see this again in December!

In case you haven't noticed, I'm not one to back down from trying anything on at least once, and going almost full-on sheer was no exception. I had always wanted something similar to this, so I knew this was the right opportunity to grab it before it was gone. The bright blue lace-up heels were also a thing sent from the fashion gods- they absolutely had to be mine. I don't have any shoes in this color, so they are a great addition to my ever-growing wardrobe.

Si no lo an notado, yo no soy alguien que le tema a las tendencias y me gusta tratarme las cosas (en este caso, ropa) antes de decidir si me encantan o no, y este vestido no era ninguna excepción. Siempre habia querido algo similar y sabia que esta era la oportunidad perfecta para por fin comprarmelo. Los zapatos tambien son algo que llamaron mi nombre en la tienda y como no tengo nada como ellos en mi armario, son una buen adición!
