Here we are, less than a week until vacation and I am starting to run around like a crazy person. Some of you may know that we begin at NYFWM, then head to Paris, and end in Rome for a few days. Before that happens, I had to shoot this dress, gifted to me exclusively by Fame & Partners, one of my dream shopping destinations for stunning, chic dresses that are also made just for you and your sizes! How much better does it get?! They custom-made this and it's even more perfect because being on the shorter side, it's a bit more complicated to find something I love, but clearly I didn't have anything but an amazing experience with the brand! I'm in awe! Thank you so much! xx

Let's take a moment to realize that CHRISTMAS is this weekend. Yeah, I can't get over that either. I am heading off to River's (if you watch my IG stories, you will know he is Lauren's gorgeous baby- seriously, the most beautiful baby ever!) 1st birthday party! I feel like this is slowly becoming my reality- having friends that are having babies left and right is creeping up on my maternal feelings and it's getting BAD! LOL. Anyway, Alex and I dressed up here for a family-type of event for the holidays. This dress is one of my all-time faves and Alex is in a suit in a color I have never seen haha, but it obviously worked out perfectly. Check out his version below! xx

WHAT TO WEAR WHERE (HOLIDAYS '17) WITH BANANA REPUBLIC, PART 1

Sooooo, when Olivia Palermo unveiled her latest collection with Banana Republic I KNEW I had to get my hands on this dress and a little something else (which I will show you soon!). I know that the holiday season is in full effect (can you believe it is almost Christmas?! WHAT!), and the festivities are only beginning. This is why this particular dress is so great to pair with a long pea coat, some cute ankle boots, and leave your makeup and accessories to a way minimum. Another way (and my own personal take on how I would style this up) is to pair it with a chic moto jacket and strappy heels like these (given that I CAN wear it this way- it is still 80 degrees in San Diego! UGH). Either way you wear it don't forget to include a chic clutch and black eyeliner to finish your look up the right way.

So here we are, Monday, October 23rd, and 4 days to go until my birthday...I feel like Joey from "Friends" when he turns 30 and says something along the lines of, "we had a deal that everyone would get old except for me!" while yelling to the ceiling basically, and while I may not exactly be turning 30, I am officially being official super and ridiculously old that's it's actually quite scary :(

No big plans, except for Disneyland on Sunday with my cousins, and I get off early on Friday because on your birthday you get to leave after 3 hours and still get paid as if you worked the entire day (huuuuuge score!), so the fact that I get to drink bubbly after 11am is totally acceptable and perfect for me. Aside from that, any Halloween plans? I have not dressed up since 2015 when I had to do it for my previous job lol...those were the good ol' days.

Oh you know, just back here trying to figure out why it is not really, entirely FALL YET! Ughh come on SoCal! On another note, I wanted to touch base with you and let you know just how badly I fell in love with my new (now getting kinda old) baker boy hat (if you follow me on IG stories you already know my obsession!). It's like the one thing I never knew I needed (heck, I am wearing it right now as we speak!). Not only does it go great with practically every bad hair day I have (which is often BTW), but I find that it adds a chic touch to almost any outfit I have on. Add a bold lipstick, sunnies, and you're good to go! What do you think of this trend?
