There are many changes coming to this blog, beginning with how often I post and what kind of outfits I put together. I know no one has my style necessarily (obvs!), but idk, I want to try a bit of a different approach to things. I have a few exciting projects coming up that I can't wait to show you guys, so watch out for that!
So, what do you guys think of this coat? As uber amazing as I think it is, I feel that it is a bit too big for me, so I might be getting rid of it soon :( #shortgirlproblems...Follow me on Instagram @esmirnatapia so you make sure you don't miss out on any other pieces I will be getting rid of!
Happy (almost) Friday!

In case you haven't noticed, I am a huge fan of the color mint- I have plenty of clothing pieces in that shade. It is the perfect representation of summer, and nothing makes me feel more in season than combining it with a really great pair of denim and a pair of stunning shoes. I am currently in Calexico, where I am joining my husband on a relaxing weekend before heading back to San Diego tomorrow. Sundays always suck, but I have the opportunity to go back to Arizona for a brief visit beginning Thursday night. Never thought I'd say I'm glad to be heading back to the desert!

About two weekends ago, we crossed into Mexicali because my husband had to run a few errands there and we also took the time to visit his grandma while my mother-in-law took her car to get detailed across the street from her house. We took this perfect opportunity to snap a few outfit pictures because the scenery was different and we've never shot across the border before. The city has its pretty places, just like any other city, and I was pleased with the more relaxed setting we were in. Change is sometimes good, right?

THE PERFECT FIT

Monday, January 20, 2014
Everyone always has that one piece of clothing they have a hard time finding that fits perfectly on their bodies; for me, this is dresses. Being of small frame, I love my dresses to be above the knee (unless it's a very formal event, of course), and I rarely seem to find any that are just right anywhere I shop. Any suggestions anyone?

NOT QUITE SWEATER WEATHER

Monday, September 16, 2013
The weekend was hectic. It seems that no matter where I travel to it is over 100 degrees. The best part of it still feeling like summer is getting to throw on the simplest things and it will still keep me cool (and chic!).
