Okay, okay, I know what you're thinking because I have the same thing on my mind- I look like the dancing emoji girl from your keyboard (lol), but in all fairness, these pieces balance out each other perfectly well- let me explain why. 

Sure, the skirt is MEGA dramatic (would I wear anything less?), but the top is coolest complement, mainly because of its one sleeve detail. It may seem over-the-top to some people, but I thought it turned out beautifully. Now, someone invite me somewhere fancy so I can wear it again.

If you guys follow me on Instagram, you know that I wore this dress this past weekend to our friend's wedding in Newport Beach, but I took it for a spin the weekend prior to that for these photos (the one who looked completely different was Alex haha)-and I'm loving themmmmm. They were very last minute (hence the psycho hair), but I think they turned out pretty okay. Now it's time to print some up and hang 'em at the house. Trust me, there have been some good and not some not-so-great reasons as to why I have been absent (work, move, zero motivation, lack of creativity), but I am trying to make a habit of getting back to what I love most. Although I am not the biggest fan of writing long posts (clearly I'm more of a visual person), I do have to say that me trying to explain what's been up and what I am up to (you know what I mean) will be kept under wraps for now, but when the timing of this new "rebranding" (ta-da! surprise number one), I hope that all of my new content will be able to speak for itself. There are times where I get carried away (as I am starting to right now), but before I do, let me just leave you with this latest look, starting with a blouse that I am in loooove with, but I feel it completely overpowers my stature (styling is obviously key here!), hence why I balanced it with a denim skirt and my latest obsession: these new boots from the Public Desire x Lissy Roddy collab! Ugh, fall needs to get in full force here in SoCal so I can use them every single day.
